Lifehacker.com just introduced me to the website www.ApartmentTherapy.com who wrote a great article:
I am a huge fan of minimalism and bucking the “buying” trend of America.
While our home currently have little excess there are two old CRT monitors in the attic, some old computer equipment, and several stacks of books that will soon have their inventory tags marked as “outgoing!”
Update 9-3-2010: Just wanted to say that I did get rid of all of those things. And I’m getting ready to have some more outgoing. One awesome thing is that I have donated over 1,000 books to the Daniel Boone Regional Library over the past 5 years. It’s a great tax deduction, and you do something great for the community.
