Since I’m just posting images today, I’m going to post two.
This awesome slam on IE and the Who Do I Punch? comic.

Internet Explorer: The Number one Browser for downloading a Better Browser.
This is a fantastic cartoon with a great message.
The fact is, no one is willing to do the right thing, so we just blame the lowest level guy.
Every day that passes I feel a greater desire to run for a political office, but Robert Kiyosaki’s father’s example is enough to dissuade me.

If you allow people to upset you, then they control you, not the other way around.
The Rover Puck is a pay-as-you-go WiFi broadcasting device which runs off Clearwire’s 4G signal without a contract.
A New York Break Dancing street performer kicks a baby across the floor!
This is really cool.
The raise/lower speed is a bit slow for a “garage” functionality, but the concept is really cool.

My mom emailed this to me this morning about an event the City of Columbia is putting on called the Keys to the City.
The event will be October 6th, 2010 with two sessions from 5pm – 7pm and 7pm – 9pm.
A brief synopsis: The public is invited to a special event called “Keys to the City” on Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 5-9 p.m. at the ARC, 1701 West Ash. The purpose of the event is to provide the public with additional information about city government and access to both elected officials and city staff. This event will also include the first Building Community NOW (Neighborhood Organizing Workshop) on the topic “What is a Neighborhood Association?”
Here’s the Web Calendar link on Columbia’s website.

I finally purchased a commercial Exmark walk behind mower and starting Spring 2011 I will be mowing 15 houses under the company name of EJ Professionals LLC.
My wife and I are super pumped about this opportunity.
Not only will our neighborhood look much better with me mowing since I was trained to mow by the best in the business, but the extra income will pay off the mower for me.
Hopefully this winter I can repaint my mower. Since I purchased it used from Craigslist it definitely does not look like the one pictured above, but a fresh coat of paint and new stickers will do wonders for this fantastic machine.
I cannot believe that out of all the business ideas I come up with the first LLC I’ve filed will be for a mowing company.
Well, a start is a start! Let’s cut some grass!

Note: I wrote this article quite a while ago, and I don’t know why I never published it! HD-DVD’s are dead already, but the points are still good.
Blu-Ray simply is not worth it. Netflix is going to charge 300% More for Blu-ray discs.
People constantly buy into the next phase of higher quality, at great personal expense. Personally, I’ve seen the hype of Composite Cables over RGB cables, the rise of the LCD and Plasma TV over Rear Projection, the HD and 1080 dpi televisions over the older LCD and Plasma, Digital Projectors, and so much more.
Yes, DVD’s are better than VHS.
Yes, CD’s are better than Records.
Yes, LCD/Plasma screens are better than tube Televisions.
Now, my argument is that all optical media is useless anyway but how far are we willing to go with quality. Let the scientists tinker, but why do we keep shelling out thousands of dollars more…?
Blu-Ray and HD-DVD’s are the next “quality leap” forward.
The players are several hundred dollars. The discs are twice as expensive as DVDs, and once again: Optical Media is Dead!
Instead of upping your NetFlix account, buying a Blu-Ray player, or even buying more DVD’s or CD’s, buy a new hard drive. Western Digital one terabyte drives are barely over $100 dollars.
Get the cheapest NetFlix account that allows for streaming.
TiVo your shows, then transfer them to a media center computer.
Use a computer hooked to your TV to watch Hulu.com
Stream your entire music and movie collection over the internet.
Using Xbox Media Center (which does not require an xbox) is a great way to stream your shows from that Media Center PC as well.
Stop getting ripped off paying for the latest-and-greatest, because it’s just in-today-junk-tomorrow.
