Ladies and Gentlemen, I’ve found my first love again.
I was over at a friend of mines house, and we were perusing eBay and we started to look up toys from our pasts which I loved so dearly.
Legos!
I’ve still got EVERY lego I ever bought.
I don’t think any of them are in their original condition,
but hey, that’s what Lego’s are all about.
I just found out about this program Lego.com offers called: Lego Digital Designer where you can actually design your own Legos and then buy them from Lego.
AWESOME!
I think I might go broke from wanting to buy all these lego sets off eBay.
Anywhoo, I’m hoping to mess around with this program and post some creations online to show off.
GO CHECK IT OUT!
This is hilarious!
OTTAWA (Reuters) – Canadian troops fighting Taliban militants in Afghanistan have stumbled across an unexpected and potent enemy — almost impenetrable forests of 10-feet-high marijuana plants.
General Rick Hillier, chief of the Canadian defense staff, said on Thursday that Taliban fighters were using the forests as cover. In response, the crew of at least one armored car had camouflaged their vehicle with marijuana.
“The challenge is that marijuana plants absorb energy, heat very readily. It’s very difficult to penetrate with thermal devices … and as a result you really have to be careful that the Taliban don’t dodge in and out of those marijuana forests,” he said in a speech in Ottawa.
“We tried burning them with white phosphorous — it didn’t work. We tried burning them with diesel — it didn’t work. The plants are so full of water right now … that we simply couldn’t burn them,” he said.
Even successful incineration had its drawbacks.
“A couple of brown plants on the edges of some of those (forests) did catch on fire. But a section of soldiers that was downwind from that had some ill effects and decided that was probably not the right course of action,” Hillier said dryly.
One soldier told him later: “Sir, three years ago before I joined the army, I never thought I’d say ‘That damn marijuana’.”
I really want this PDA phone.
The phone is $400 with a $100 mail in rebate.
I’m could get the Jabra bluetooth earpiece with the rebate money.
I’ve had 3 pda’s – gotten rid of all of them because I didn’t want to have so much crap to carry.
I’ve had 3 cell phones – most of them broke.. except the one I have now…
I want one that does both…
My mom just bought one of these, and I’ve been playing with it to help her out. It’s really cool.
I talked about the D&D Website I want to create in a previous entry.
I’m going to also add another section / feature to the site.
I will be publishing on the web my current Campaign Setting I’m working on and running my current game in… Also, I will be publishing ( meaning putting on the site ) other home brewed campaign settings with Features that people can select and add to whatever campaign setting, such as many of the ideas I’ve already come up with.
One such feature would be The Frost Giant Mastodon Riders I came up with… Someone could select that Feature and add it anywhere in the setting that made sense. This will also apply to home made Dragons, as they are so hard to create and run…
I am going to be creating http://dnd.erbtech.com soon I hope.
It will be a D&D ( Dungeons and Dragons ) resource website with the following available:
Complete Lists Compiled from All Sources ( not just WotC )
Name Generators
Layouts for:
NPC Generator – complete with stats, backgrounds, equipment, etc… based on Level, Alignment, etc…
Town / City Creation – based on rules in DMG for generating highest level NPC by classes
Magic / Treasure Generation – using DMG rules.. type in CR of Encounter, OR Input several different monsters to total one encounter and don’t do the figuring yourself again!!! ( ex: 10x Orcs, 2x Worgs, and 1x NPC Spellcaster with 3 ranks in sorcerer )
Dragons – these are a ton of work. The Draconomicon has helped in this, but I will create a generator to help you run dragons of ANY CR…
I’m going to probably need some help compiling those HUGE lists of feats, spells, etc… but I really want to get this done and running. Anyone with coding experience that can help me out with the random name generation and other work would be greatly appreciated.
